Wanted: 1967/68 Impala convertible drivers side door wedge. Here is a pic of what it looks like.

 Yes.  With no metal roof support, they're on the convertibles for added support between the door and the rear quarter panel.

67 68 impala only. CDN Pontiac ones are different. Yes chances are there's one there.

What material is it made out of? You could probably fabricate one out of the appropriate material.

Regarding the set I had, I could have sworn I got them off an early 70's car, but the fellow I sold them to needed them for his 69 Bonneville convertible.  I found the photo of them, and by looking at the screw hole locations, they look like they differ from yours.

my 69 442 had a pair on the drivers door jamb. Pretty sure the were made of brass ?? Funny; but I saw other Cutlass  convertibles  that didn't have any ??

 Yes they were/are brass. Lots of times a good indication that the doors were replaced on a convert is the absence of the wedges missing and no holes in the door for them. I just noticed awhile ago that my convert was missing the wedge on the drivers door And the holes are there for it.
