Car needs alot of work, cowl, quarters, trunk to body mounts...Car has solid frame, floors, rockers. Car was built on very last day of production with only 52 Beaumonts built after it. The car is very much worth restoring.
Wow , that's an interesting car... All the good ones are in Winnipeg!!!

Ya I see he has some 69 stuff. Might look into the 69 header panel. I need a straight one, mine is a little beat up. But it needs to be a Beaumont not chevelle one . Just might have to check into that.
The car was purchased brand new in Penticton. It was my first car, went to high school in it, then used it as my wedding car. Drove it about year and a half before seeing another '65 Custom, we both almost had a head on collision with each other staring at each others car. I ended up buying that Custom too. This red 2 drht, had its 283 rebuilt years ago, not correct 283, then repainted Peterbuilt colors. Was a beautiful car in evenings. I had the car autographed by Jim Wangers "its still a Pontiac, let's keep it alive-Jim" I added correct power seats when I was a teenager, but tracks need adjusting, seat sits way too high, but they work great. I also added rear window defroster. I probably know more about that Beaumont than the seller or even GM for that matter. That car is very well worth restoring.
Yes Johnnee D, she's a looker and a keeper. I've been pulled over in it two times that I can remember by RCMP just so they can have a look at her. The deep red highlights the trim nicely, especially in evening. Motor was so balanced you couldn't hear it run. She ran fine, 123 mph on I-5, motor had more but car itself didn't. One very rare car that one. I've owned alot of 64-67 GMs, this one stands alone. She even has prototype looking parts on her, brackets and few other parts look hastily made and unfinished. The car stayed in dry storage almost 30 years. Last time it saw blacktop was just me and car, took her for all day light cruiise to a park for photos. Was a great time. Me and my cockatoo use to go cruising all the time, just like Beretta, bird on my shoulder, he loved cruising too. Ahhh great memories that money cant buy.
Im thinking its more than a thousand bucks by rail, plus all the hidden costs, getting car to rail yard, getting car from rail yard and trucked into washingtom from Vancouver, customs and brokerage fees adds up quick.
My brother is a car broker in Manitoba, and he buys cars wholesale every week from the auction in Vancouver. He then has them shipped by rail to Virden Manitoba for 1000.00 to 1200.00.
Anyone else notice that the steering wheel is touching the seat.?
you didnt read post diid ya? just looked at pictures. The car has power seats that i put in when i was 17, the seat is only roughed in, the seat tracks need to be changed.
