65 Beaumont interior, any ideas

Hi Guys,

Greetings from the West Coast. I finally got my 65 revived and out of storage. Question is, my front seat is starting to tear, hence the blanket on the front seat. Where would I be able to find an original interior with the proper insert and design pattern. See pics attached.

Secondly, any ideas on correct seatbelts, currently they are black lift style, where to get.........

IMG058.jpgThe fabric for 65 Beaumont is not being produced, it has to be custom made at about one hundred bucks a yard. The seatbelts you describe sound correct.

Check with SMS auto fabrics out or Oregon i think.  They DO have 1964 correct cloth, so i would be surprised if the do not have 65.

Yes, black lift style belts are correct for 64 and 65, unless it has the "custom deluxe belts with retractor" option

Thanks guys,

That gives me a good place to start. I emailed SMS this morning with pics.

Beaumontguru, I had no idea that the black belts would of been factory, I thought for sure they would be red to match.

Thanks again!

They don't want a picture, they will want a actual sample. If you don't have sample I can send you a piece.

The guys at SMS are great to deal with, they should only need a model # and a trim code off your firewall tag.  They send free samples in the mail too!

I think they just do 65 buckets.  He may have a bench.

Huh,  i guess i missed something?

just going by what i know.

I contacted SMS a couple years ago about my 64 custom interior cloth, they just needed to know the trim code off the firewall and sent me a sample in the mail.  They also did the same for my 67 beaumont sedan.  I am guessing that they would do the same for your 65,  just trying to answer your initial question.  Like i said, that was a couple years ago, so maybe SMS handles it different now, but its worth a try.  Like Indian said, it is a bit pricey, the cloth is about $100 a yard,  vinyls are a bit less.
