Wagon diff..............

Heard a vicious rumor today....that ALL wagons of this era ( C/P and chevolet)...came with Safe-T track (posi) as standard equipment.

Can anybody out there confirm or deny?

Back to TOPIC.......is there a tag somewhere on these diffs....that indicates Safe T Track?

McKinnon 12 bolts had a red plastic one on the fill plug and later 10 bolts came with an aluminum one on a cover screw

I would think so ... to differentiate them from "non-posi" rear ends. They take a different fluid, that's what the tag states.

I've heard there is a "posi" sticker on wagons located in the spare tire well.
