An 8 Track player is what you need for those rockin sounds! I think 1967 was the first year for that as a factory option in Chev and Pontiac. Heck they're practically given them away on ebay! (the cartridges that is)
Just went for a tour and noticed the radio started up with a Retrosound logo
Cant trust my memory any more
I had ordered the Custom Radio and waited for almost a year with multiple promises of delivery. Finally cancelled the order after contacting Custom Radio directly. I had ordered it on ebay from a reseller and they went bankrupt. Fortunately I kept all of my emails back and forth and MasterCard sent the charge back to the defunct company.
Whew!!!

I have has several old cars and newer trucks with aftermarket stereos... Always the same can't see the face or numbers w/o my glasses on buttons stick lousy sound I would put a stock 67 radio in my 67 (if I had one) and use a portable sound system A lot of my cars engines sounded better than radio anyway (2 cents)

Ditto. I like no stereo in a classic.
I do have a Pioneer aftermarket with all the bells & whistles in my 2006 truck though.
