Will a 350 8" Harmonic Balancer work with alternator on right and original power steering pump with short water pump?

I am attempting to put a 350 with 8" Harmonic Balancer into my 65 Beaumont.

I want the original look with the Alternator on right, with the original power steering pump with short water pump.

Does the top of the steering pump bracket go behind the motor mount or is it attached to the exhaust manifold?

Does the thickness of the Damper mess my pulleys up for alignment, can I buy shims or am I better off buying a 6 3/4 " aftermarket Balancer?

If anyone could help me out I would be very happy. Lol no

Thanks,

Lance

Does the top of the steering pump bracket go behind the motor mount or is it attached to the exhaust manifold? I believe it mounts to the manifold...I will check my assembly manual. Do you have the correct '65 brackets?

I'm not sure on this, you could run the 283 balancer, but you may want to mock it up with both first, it may turn out the pulley mounting faces end up in the same location. The reason I say this is I used a 350 out of a '70 Chevy PU with a stock short waterpump for a project and it had the large balancer and a waterpump pulley that was the same shape as a 283 pulley. I will compare this pulley with the one on my car to see if they are the same, and take a measurement to see the distance from the timing chain cover to the pulley mount face on my 283 so you can compare with your 350.

If anyone could help me out I would be very happy. Lol no

Thanks,

Lance
