1951 Transmission popping out of 3rd.

My 51 pops out of third gear while driving. If i hold the lever down while driving I'm good, but when I take my hand off to corner it slips into neutral. Any suggestions on what to adjust?

If your car is a rusty basket, the linkage is maybe out of adjustment. With rusty body it can ğdiveğ in the frame, changing the rod length. Look at adjustment first to me.

Try the adjustment first but as 427carl says its usually in the transmission so a rebuild a replace or a bungy.
