60 Pontiac 3 speed manual transmission fluid spec & capacity

Would appreciate it if anyone can provide fluid specification and capacity for my 60 Pontiac 3 speed manual transmission.  I am thinking of using Royal Purple Synchromax;  any issues to consider.   Thank you.

Use GM oil      don't waste your money on Purple snake oil

I'd just use 2 pints of the 'available anywhere' Castrol 80W-90 gear oil.

80/90 gear lube & fill till it's level with the fill plug or just starts to run out, & your done!!!!!

 .........ya what Pete says but I have used 80/90 Quaker State Hi-Perfomance GL5 for years on all

newly rebuilt and older trans when changing fluid..........never an issue
