I even called National Chevy and they couldn't clearly explain how these install (except that the fender must be off).

Anyone ever done these?

I installed mine 3+ yrs. ago but dammed if I can remember if they went on the cowl or fender before installing fender but do remember having to 'try it different ways before I figured it out!!!!! Might want to try "shop manuals on line", I used that for quite a few things on 52 P{ontiac from Chevy manual. Pete

OK that brings back my memory, that small plate was still bolted to the cowl on mine!!!! I didn't glue other edge to door but mine seem to be a "snug" fit!!!!
