Seeing the other post made me want to post some of the beauty of my new province Alberta. I now know why they call this area God's country.

Top photo looks like Peyto Lake, and secone one looks like the Columbia Ice Fields.   They're all in Banff National Park.

Parts of Banff are beautiful. I got caught in a slushy snow storm driving up there in July. Nice pictures!

The irony here is that most people take this for granted, because they have never experienced other provinces. Canada is unique in cultures and landscapes. We are very fortunate, I hope it stays that way for years to come.
