69 Parisienne belt line trim

The stainless trim that runs front to back on the Parisienne and Laurentian would of originally had a vinyl/rubber strip glued to it. Correct? Was the strip body coloured? what was the profile of the rubber molding?

Laurentian only had chrome, no rubber insert. I'm pretty sure on the Parisienne the rubber was body colour. Dad's Strato Chief also had the trim and I seem to remember it was black. Hard to tell in this photo though.

The 69 Strato Chief that we bought new didn't have any side trim, as dad worked at potash mine at the time and didn't want the car to rust prematurely. When the Strato Chief got a repaint in the late seventies a plastic moulding was added that had the fake chrome on it.

Sad part is the 69 Parisienne I had in high school was already banged up and missing most of the trim. Of the stuff that was left I can't recall what the moulding looked like. Hence why I am asking now.

Somewhere here I have the information for 1970 Canadian Pontiac's.  For Parisienne's, the side molding was color keyed to the paint color.  For Laurentian's, they were either all black, or there was a really limited number of colors.   The Strato-Chiefs didn't have any side molding.
