FOUND THESE PARTS CARS TODAY!


These cars are in a boneyard on Saltspring Island, B.C. (between Vancouver and Victoria in the Gulf Islands).The Laurentian has an original low mileage (78K) running engine according to the owner.

That's the Island where I got my boat anchor '67 Grande from.... If anyone says there is no rust in BC, I urge you to visit here.... LOLOL....

It is always hard to see vintage iron in this kind of disrepair but at least the crusher never got them. I love that 59 wagon. Thanks for sharing.

 SALT spring island......its in the SEAbiggrin most cars from these coastal paradices are TOAST!

 Negative!

I had to take delivery of the 2 rims Timbuk so graciously sprung loose from his inventory! (raised some questions at Customs- "what's in the box, boy?"confuse

 

 The bonus was 5 days on Saltspring at our family home. (4 of which were spent looking in backyards around the island! smile)

There used to be a tons (literally) of old stuff on the Island, but a few years ago when steel was high the 'grim reeper' crusher came over on the ferry and didn't leave empty handed!no
