It's a Grande Earl. G R A N D E... It needs the aero skirts. Yes Mark I know it's Grande'. As for the aero skirts,14 inch wheels and deluxe spinner caps, thats not going to happen on my watch!
I know the dogdishs dont belong on a Grande, but its a personal thing. I didn't want after market mags but did want 15'
Love this car... on one of the notes above : The Americans for the most part don't seem to understand that Canadian Pontiac didn't have its own motor division until 1970, and used Chev engines until that time. Years ago I owned two 1967 Pontiac Grande Parisiennes, both with factory 396 ( Astro Jet ) engines and M22 4-speeds. I had a guy rag out on me at a muffler shop when I went to price a new exhaust system for the first one. He told me I didn't know what I was talking about (before I even opened the hood ). He said that Pontiac never had a 396 - that it had to be a 389. He learned something that day, but he seemingly didn't like the fact that he was proven wrong by a teenager. I guess he was an American before he came here...( ? )
Wished I'd kept both those cars.
Boy it sure is a nice looking car. It looks neat with both the "dog dish" and the Rallye wheels, although I like the Rallye's better. Of course it is mine, too bad for me. You are right it seems that as the year went by there was more interest in the later '60s big Pontiac's. not surprising - they are such a neat car and it seems that each one brings more attention to the beautiful interiors, colors and power trains that were available. I had no idea there were so many big block Canadian Pontiacs out there, not that they are common place. Anyway congrats on your feature and the really nice car you have.
