So last May I purchased a 1960 Pontiac Parisienne Convertible. After many months of waiting for its interior and top to be done i have finally taken possession of it. It has been out of action since the 80's some time. Metal work and running gear were done some time in the 90s, but it was never finished. It is getting close, needs to be gone over. Here are some pics of it as it was getting interior and top worked on.
Now that is B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L. ..................... Absolutely gorgeous. You do realize that you are making us all jealous and green with envy. We need more pictures of that sweet time machine of yours. Cheers. George

Shes a real beauty, clolor combo is sweet. I have the exact car at body shop for paint as we speak . i havent decided on a color yet , but looking at yours may have made my decsion easier. Very very nice .
Juho, was your Parisienne always a B.C. car? The reason I ask is it looks exactly like one I remember in Ontario that survived in great shape. When I was growing up in Ancaster, the Magill brothers all had neat cars. Between 1971 & 1974 as a high school student, Dennis had a 62 T-bird, then a 48 Ford F-1 pickup, then a 66 Parisienne. His brother Terry had what looks exactly like that 60 Parisienne convertible, white with white top, red interior & a 283. Like nearly all the Magill brothers cars it had chrome reverse wheels with Baby Moon hubcaps. Terry owned that Parisienne from 1973 74, then he sold it for a 1965 Studebaker Daytona coupe. (In 1983 he owned a 1960 Bel Air hardtop coupe with 11,000 actual miles and original paint!). Fast-forward 10 years to 1984. I happened to see Terrys old 1960 Parisienne close to where the current Ancaster Swap Meet takes place. The car looked exactly as it did some 10 years before; that is to say it was 100% unchanged and still mint. I wonder...

I think it was a BC car. It wasnt a survivor as there is alot of hours on the metal work judging by the receipts and photos i have.
Wow, that is looking great. You have one of my favorite color combinations there. Hopefully will see you driving in southern B.C. sometime next summer.
Juho, sweet sweet 60 Poncho time machine and i love the new boots. The 59 Chev interior looks like it was original in your car, i love it. Thank you for keeping her mostly original and those skirts really set her off nice. We all look forward to more photos of your beautiful 60 Poncho and when is she going to be a C.P. feature car. Cheers, George

Thanks, I hope to have it out and about this summer, was hoping spring but ran into a snag. The doors did not shut nicely and i thought it might just be an easy adjustment. Looks like i have to take the front fenders off and the hoodf to align everything up. Never done that before so will see how it goes.
