Has anyone tried intalling a 2dr bubble top vent window on a convertible? I have one of each, out of the door and there is very little physical difference , the coupe window is really nice and i would like to use on my convertible.
This listing says they are the same (for chevy and US Pontiac, so should be good for Cdn Pontiac) and this glass supplier has a name for knowing what they sell, so it should fit. Not a bad price for the glass and frame either, $79.http://www.autocityclassic.com/1959-1960-pontiac-catalina-bonn-convertible/1959-1960-chevy/pontiac-assembled-vent-v5924a/

Thx for the response but I was referring more to the whole assembly that bolts up into the door

From Pontiac parts catalogue 1958-61......seem that convertible (-67) have their own vent window.....
Sorry, maybe I made a mistake..................is your question about #10-655 in the illustration below........
.....if so, the channel for the ventilator is the same for:
Laurentian (75-76) 2 doors hardtop (37) and 4 doors hardtop (39)
Parisienne (77-78) 2 doors hardtop (37) and 4 doors hardtop (39) and convertible (67)
hope I'm right this time!
