Doesn't matter what colour (as I can use my old sail panel's material), as long as the "hardboard" backing is in very good shape. If you have an aqua coloured one ... bonus.

Darryl, I thought you can buy that hardboard material new? Or am I wrong?
I'm not sure.
If only it was a simple slab of material, I'd make one, but it has a 2nd. layer at one end with these "notched pockets" that the fasteners/clips slide into, so you would have to be accurate in making that piece.

Can't you get similar hardboard from Home Depot that could be cut to suit?

I had a pair of red ones from a 64 Parisienne I parted. I've been trying to find them to see if they might be of any use to you but no luck so far. I'll look again on the weekend and let you know if they turn up.

I'm mostly caring about the "backer board" condition ... is it spongy/punkie at all at the bottom? I just need the passenger side.

Darryl you should be able to get one from Hawkeye, I'm sure his website will be up shortly. Door panels and anything else not obtainable for the interior.
