I found a bit of a treasure tonight that I didn't realize I had. It's a bit of an unusual parts book in that the print date (June 1977) is out of the ordinary. Most of the 65-76 full size Canadian Pontiac parts books you find for sale are the last print that was issued, May 1981. The 1981 issues are great reference books but some of the early years that they cover (mid to late 60's) have numbers missing if those parts had already been discontinues, especially in the area of vinyl and plastic items as well as rubber items. Although this book (printed in 1977) is not the ultimate book for the 65-70 Pontiac part numbers, it is superior to the 1981 issue.
I don't have the proper GM binder for this book but put it in a decent fitting generic binder. Also, the front cover is missing off the book but if you like I can make a photocopy page of what it should look like and include it.
These books are invaluable for---
-Seeing how certain areas of the car are assembled.
-Searching for part numbers when shopping online for parts.
-Carrying around at a swap meet to confirm the correct application for NOS or used parts.
-Model information, powertrain information, interior trim code information.
-Option code listing. The book has a list of GM option codes that were applicable for the years it applies to.
-Decoding rear axles, engines (1970 and up), carbs, alternators, distributors, coil springs etc etc etc.
I would like to get $75 shipped for this book with binder. It will likely cost me about $25 to ship depending on where you are.

I have one of these for 58-66 (not for sale), it was printed in 66. Haven't seen any RHD stuff in it, but I haven't been through the whole thing. I have seen RHD stuff in Chevrolet assembly manuals for the 59 and 62, with part numbers and great drawings. I do not have a 63 assembly manual for the Cdn Pontiac, so not sure if the Cdn Pontiac assembly manuals have the same info as the Chev ones, but you'd thing they would.
What manuals do you have?

Yes, actually there is a decent amount of RHD stuff in the Canadian books, I am assuming because we manufactured them. Am I right in thinking the US plants didn't do any RHD production?

I was really asking koolconvertible what manuals he has. But, I still am looking for an assembly manual for the 63.

extremely hard to find RHD manuals in australia. I have an american 66 gm body manual. Only bought it because it had instructions for fitting a convertible top. Couldn't find a 65. I think I have some manuals on a CD somewhere but again they are american. Sort of helpful with the common chevy parts but not that helpful for assembling a canadian pontiac.
