Awesome car, a big block 4 speed, and a 427 to boot.

Amazing job! Love the 4 speed and the hood tachometer. Enjoy it for as long as you can.

I just noticed that it should be "Chippewa Falls", not just "Chippewa", where it was restored. I'm sure anyone looking to use them can figure it out, but for completeness, there you go.

I thought we had this picture in the thread, but don't see it (nuke if this is a dupe please).  Every year since I was born we took a photo of my Dad and I putting the new license plates on the car.  He passed in 96, and when my first son was born in 99 we resumed the tradition and have tried to continue it every year.  This one was 15 years ago!  I'm about 30 pounds lighter now and my son's about 200 heavier!

A really neat car. A trip to the strip joint in Wisconsin would have been a long ride, so the dedication to this resto did not happen over night did it? And the parts sourcing and the selection is spot on. Geez this must be a nice ride. Congrats on the feature.

Very very tastefully done. Picking out the stuff you want and making the car the way you want it to be is the essence of the car hobby. Plus it must go like a bat out of !!!!!

It runs a 12.9 at the track. That doesn't sound that fast, but stock they were around 16.5 (based on 1969 Impala SS 427 road tests) so it's quicker than that!

Actually I found another road test today that says 15.1, which is pretty respectable for a 390hp motor in a 4200lb barge!
