Grande Parisienne dash

Just wondering if you guys know if the dash pad from a 66/67 stratochief will fit or is the same as a 67 GP??

I think any 67 full size Pontiac dashpad will fit, Strato, GP, whatever. However, I am quite sure 66 is not the same.

Ok in not 100% on the year of the SC, I found it in the woods, I know it 65-67, but the dash pad is covered in about 2" of pine needles and dirt, but underneath it's like new, I could probably fix mine, but if this one would fit, I'll take it off clean it and dye/paint it!

No matter what year it is, an uncracked dash for a Canadian Poncho in the 60's is valuable and worth grabbing if the price is fair.

Grab it for sure, just be careful removing it so you don't damage it. You should be able to make some money if it's not right for your's. If you are unsure of how to tell the year, snag some pictures of the car.

image.jpegJust looked at my good GP and my parts car, they have 2 difference dash pads, the good car has a dash pad that has the centre speaker in it and extends right to the windshield, while my parts car has like a half pad and where the centre speaker is its steel extending out to the windshield , both cars are 67 2dr hardtop posts, just difference interior trim packages? Maybe?, this picture is the same as in my good GP or did someone get creative along the way?, if its possible for both styles let me know, or if it's supposed to be a certain way, and you can get pictures, send me some and let me know . Thanks

So according to that, it was possible to have either or, for those years, guess I just have to choose what way I wanna go, do over the one I have, or do some cutting and transplanting lol

The 67 dash pads were 6" wide, and the 68 dash pads extended further towards the windshield and had the speaker in them.  I had a 68 dashpad that came out Grande Parisienne, I gave it to a guy here in Calgary with a Grand Prix.

This pic is of a '68... the pad is padded towards the w/shield of the dash pad... also, you can see the VIN cutout on the pad as well.... plus, the hood has the chrome trim on the hood that closes at the w/shield and not to the cowl as the '67... '68's also have the pads on the actual dash, the cig lighter and ignition have swapped spots and as I can notice in the pic, the clock adjusting knob is towards the drivers side of the lower face where as the '67's are in the lower center of the face...

'67 only and '68 only...

If the VIN is in the dash, it is a '68... first year for it.....

Or like you said, someone was mismatching.....

Is there a relation to the interior trim of the Grand Parisienne (76657)?

Vin on both cars are on the a-pillar in the door jamb, I'll have o double Check to see if there's a vin cut out on the pad in the good car, someone along the way might have put a 68 pad in it, Cus it seems to fit pretty decent , the pad almost got thrown out, luckily I stopped by the house where the car was previous bc I recognized it in the background of the pictures, the fella just bought the house and was clean the building and in the junk pile was the dash pad, either... I'll make something work!! Thanks guys!
