Anyone near / in Whistler

Hi All,

New to classic car culture. Anyone in Whistler area want to meet up chat cars? Lend me a hand or need a hand anyhting car related?? I'm happy to help out where i can just to meet and talk cars.

Just got myself a Laurentian 69, well most of it anyway :) so hoping to be on the road this summer???

Steve

Welcome aboard!

I might be going over to Whistler as I'm organizing a ski trip Dec.30 - Jan. 6 & so far have 7 people confirmed. If the group is large enough & I join in I'll contact you and yeah ... we can certainly talk about cars!

Cheers, leo

Sounds a plan Leo, but a year from now! Wow, could never plan something that far in advance. Next week is a struggle!!! By all means ping me a message nearer the time, i'm game!

Welcome from the Okanagan. My daughter and son in law are close to you in Squamish so I end up there every so often sometimes with the old car. Good chance we will be out there for Easter.

So today i learnt to paint!!!! No one up here will touch my car as it's too old!!! Or the couple who will say i have to wait till mid summer! Being impatient and wanting to enjoy my car! I'm going all DIY. From learning to carpet (on a budget!!!) and today painting. I know it's not everyones taste, but glossy paint and guns are out of my skill and budget so her she is!!! The flat really makes the chrome/stainless stand out.

Thank you all, didn't know what i'd get back but apprciate the good feedback. I so nearly blacked out the chrome too, glad i didn't. You get a little carried away spraying! I'm trying to work out a way to get something like the GTO front lights blacked out. Not worked it out yet but see how things go, if not there is plenty more paint :)

Thanks for the positive feedback!
