Thanks for the great info and tips for interior work group! Here are a few pics of our new family addition. The car was bought in 1960 from the local dealer here. The old fella that purchased it passed away in 1974 and it has sat in the family barn since. We just bought it from the grandson of the original owner. It's history is laid out by the documents found in the glovebox. After adding some gas and priming the carb, the old gal fired right up!
It looks to be in good shape. What is the power train, 6 or V8? Automatic or standard? Where about's in Alberta are you? As I said in an earlier post, for your interior parts just look up for 1960 Chevrolet. You will be able to find headliners, carpet sets, seat materials, etc. Please keep us posted on your progress.
Wow ... Love it! Great find. It looks very complete/original.

Looks in great shape, must have been stored on a wood floor or very dry building.

Mahone Bay, NS Still not old enough to need an automatic
Located in Didsbury Alberta, it has a 261 and three on the tree Manual. Pretty much a base model by the look of it. No Am Radio either. Could t have asked for a better resto base to start with thanks again for the leads.
Wow, by looking at the pictures it sure doesn't need any body restoration. Hopefully just the interior and maybe some brakes and seals and you are ready to roll.
