Time to restore the seat

As Spring is in the air it's time to get rid of a couple of small tears along the seam of the driver's seat. The tear is about 10 cms long and the foam seems a bit soft. I intend on firming up the seat as well. ADVISE AND HINTS WELCOME. I intend on getting it professionally done. Please let me know what you think I should do, best process, etc. Getting the entire vinyl redone is the most likely option since I don't want a patch job.

Cheers, Leo

Order the seat cover from our sponsor or have a vinyl repair specialist fix it (not patch it)

It will be a restauration specialist that will do the job. A patch - NO WAY!!!

Leo
I have a NOS partial roll of correct Madrid grain vinyl, sourced from a Canadian GM supplier (in the 1960's) / used in "A" bodies.

If you go the fix-it route, I've got some OEM Black Vinyl to sell / drop me a PM, if interested.
Cheers, Larry

If you are going to do a partial or just 1 seat get a sample piece of colour. Even black will get sun bleached over time. Just mytwocents.gif
