1969 Parisienne Convertible

Well, I have enjoyed this car for the last 5 or so years but now it seems time to move on to something else.

I bought from the daughter of the original owner.  Have all the documentation.

I am asking $11,500.00 OBO for it.  Have more pics and information.

Good luck sibling biggrin

Definitely cleaner then mine.

The dealer option fender skirts are nice.

I like the newer dual exhaust.

Hey members, one question,

How come some convertible boots clip under the trim while others clip on with buttons ?

From my experience, 69 boots should clip under the trim, same as 70.  It's possible the trim has been changed at some point to the snap type as used in 68 & prior, as the clip under was certainly not GM's best idea.

I thought it was due to the new scissor design 1970 of the top which meant the top lowered further into the well and made for more rear seat width? or are you asking all years?

I think the 69 and 70 were probably were the same.

Cliff could have hit the nail on the here.

I could see the original owner fighting those plastic clips and scratching the heck out of the paint.

Frustrated and then running back to the dealer and demanding a 68 boot be installed.

I have only put mine on twice in the last 4 years and only after it sat in the hot sun to make it more pliable.

This is not the original top, however the brochure that came with it shows the boot fastened over the top just like this one.

Convertible boots;

A=bodies 1964 / 65 used a metal claw type clip, switched to a plastic clip for 66 / 67 and part way thru 68 when they switched   to the slider for 69 thru 72

B=bodies used the hidden snaps 62 thru 68.and then switched to the slider
