WANTED: 1965 GTO Rear Window Chrome

Hey fellas,

A buddy of mine is desperately trying to find the lower trim chrome along the bottom of the rear window.  Does anyone know of someone, or have a spare they'd be willing to part with? (Doesn't matter if it's not in pristine condition) ...Please contact me and name your price.

Thanks,

Kyle

I'm assuming this is hardtop? (since they also came in 2 door post version)

I didn't look it up but I would assume it is the same as a Chevelle, Skylark or Cutlass?

Yes Carl, it's a hardtop coupe. The vertical chrome is available re-pop, but not the lower molding.

Hmm, interesting, I wonder why they do it that way.

Kyle, can he measure how long it is? I think I have some from a 65 Beaumont but sort of doubt if it is the same.

Am dealing with that issue right now with glass.gto tempest lemans cutlass skylark all fit, BEAUMONT does not, some could assume neither will a chevelle.

On that note there is a 65 Skylark listed on Kijiji in Abbotsford at Captain Crunch wrecking yard.  Might be worth a call.

Thanks for the heads up Jerel. Will look into that option... hope it's a vinyl top car.
