Further clues will provide more evidence;
Does it have SS trim? Hood Louvers, Grille Emblem? It would also have to be a 350, if the original engine is still in the car, check the block codes/casting and serial info to the body VIN.
it has ss trim, had hood louvers (has cowl now), 350, and a muncie, grill emblem is there too, i got the car with the motor and gearbox out but did see it all in the car before, i have a aluminum 5.3ls converted to carb and a built 700r4 in it now, but one day it might go back stock, or atleast stock looking
One way to know for sure is to get the gm vintage docs for it. Comes with the RPO codes etc and where it was delivered to. I believe that 1282 2 door v8 cars were built in 1970. Gm did not split out how many were as cars. Does yours have an aluminum tail panel? Goes almost to each light, but not quite.
