I've wanted one of these cars for years, and can't believe I finally found one. I Just bought it from Carl Stevenson, what a great guy, and an amazing experience buying a car from Carl. He's probably the most knowledgeable person on the planet with regards to these cars, and one of the nicest guys you'll ever hope to meet, thanks again for everything Carl.
The car is not a show car, has a bit of rust, needs mufflers, and some minor things, it has a 350 in it that runs good, I think Carl mentioned it was an original 396 car but not sure.
Carl put the 4 speed in, power windows, power antenna, power seats, custom made strato bench & rear seat, original style tach, new winshield, and comes with a reverb & rear defrost.
It has 15s on it now, but comes with the original hub caps, so I'm planning on restoring the hub caps, and going back to 14s.
Once I get the dash and rugs back in I'll post more pictures in the registry.
Congrats. Man they are such nice looking cars! Wish we got more than the pov pack versions! Even big block engines would have been good. Now there's an idea....make it a 396.....

I've been wanting to add to this all day, but it was wild at work today, pretty much not a minute for myself, then out all evening to a funeral, errands, cleaning up at our new home construction site, etc. Finally home after midnight.
And thus the reason for selling my car...
My life situation has changed I'm afraid. It has a lot to do with my wife's health, and our plans to downsize (sold our 35 acre parcel and building a new house in town) so that we can deal with a muscular disease that she has. I simply do not have time for a project car, I need a driver and that is a fact of life for me. I am NOT out of this hobby by any stretch, and certainly not giving up on CP. On the contrary, you will likely see even MORE of me because once we move, I won't have much else to do except be around the house doing whatever she needs me to do. And I will have a driver, an old car that I can just hop in and go for a tour with when time permits.
And now, I have to say, this deal with Tom has likely been one of the most fun deals I've ever had involving an old car. Tom is one of the most patient guys I've ever met, I think he waited more than 5 months for me to get off the fence about selling the GP. He is certainly one of the most straight up guys I've ever dealt with, and most enthusiastic too. It was an absolute pleasure dealing with him, and even more fun meeting him, as brief as our time together was on the evening he came for the car. It was not easy parting with that car after the hours I put into it but he made it as painless as possible with his patience and zeal.
I really do look forward to seeing that car finished and on the road.

Its going to be a lot of fun getting this car on the road!
I'm not sure whats going to be needed yet, brakes & suspension wise, to pass the OOP inspection. Hopefully I get an get an inspector who's not too picky (hint...John).
With my Job, my business, two young boys, and other family obligations, I wont be going at a blistering pace getting the car fixed, but i know I'll find the time.
Carl must have gave you a good discount on the selling price for you to say all those great things about him! (kidding, kidding)

Carl, Carl, Carl..... One little slip up I made ( For those who don't know, Carl should have received a spare time with his white Grande that I sold him, but he didn't) and he won't let me forget!

Don't know how you can give away spare time with building a new house and all.
Sounds like the "classic" Parisienne will be just as loved and nurtured in the Allen household as it was it the Stevenson household.
Congrats, when both buyer and seller feel like they got a good deal.
