New from Alberta

Good day all,

I am currently working on a 1950 Pontiac 4-door torpedo (model 22-08).  This one has no driveline so I am modifying this one by putting it on a Morrison chassis with Mustang II front end and 9" rear with 4-bar and air ride system.  This car will be running a 2000 6.0L LS motor with 4 sp Auto tranny.

When I was 6, I use to play in this car on my grandparents farm.  Always loved the shape and design of the vehicle, now I am rebuilding it to be a regular summer driver.  The body work is 95% complete and almost ready for paint, so I am hoping that I can get a lot of the pieces pulled together this summer and start doing the interior over the winter.

I own 9 vehicles and my wife has another 2 so you can say we like vehicles in our house.  I try to involve all my kids in vehicles from changing tires with the seasons, general maintenance, modifications and general enjoyment.  Looking for information and parts to finish my 1950 build, and possible full restoration, numbers matching of my other Pontiac. Probably looking at creating a Rat Rod out of my 1951 Chevy parts doner car and then we will see what is out there for me to do.  Would love to to a Pontiac Safari ..... think it might look good beside my 2006 Dodge Magnum SRT.

I hope to make contact with members in the Alberta area and hope to see some at local car shows that I can ask questions and get advice from.

Thank-you in advance for your assistance.

I'm doing a 52 2dr and using a LS1 5.7 and 4L60E out of a 2000 Camaro SS Z28 so any pointers on the LS install would be awesome.
