1963 Pontiac Parisienne gas filler tube (rubber) - Source for one for Canadian built Pontiac ?

My rubber gas connector tube  for my 63 Parisienne seems to be leaking and I'm unable to fill the gas tank.

Anybody got a source for a new rubber tube? Is this tube the same as a 63 Chevrolet or American Pontiac?

Are you able to tell if it's 2"? I suspect it will be but I can't check the part number until tonight.

If you find a piece, brace yourself, it's brutally expensive and most places want to sell you a length of it, like a couple of feet.

Maybe the repro places like NOS or somebody? When I needed a piece for my Acadian I bought a length and a couple of local guys bought a chunk off me which helped offset the nasty cost of it. I may still have a chunk left but shipping would take a while.

Your car would be except 35-45 George. Those are 2 seat and 3 seat wagons.

Just remove the one you have and take it to Cdn Tire or NAPA, etc. (farm supply, heavy truck) and they will have rubber gas hose to fit. Unless you want "matching numbers". I'll warn you it might be red though, so if anyone crawls under there they will see it.

Just checked and it's the short one so it must be the 2" diameter version.

Actually it seems shorter than 6 1/2 inches (maybe shrunk? or shortened over the years?)

Thanks for the tip Don......easier than having to order it with shipping charges and having to wait for weeks.

Thanks everyone for all the help.

Could also check out your local marine outlet/repair shop. They should stock for inboard tanks. Can get in all sizes and they will cut to lenght.
