Long story short, I bought a 1964 Acadian when I was 14 and restored it with my dad and brother. This was of course done on a 14 year old budget. This was about 12 years ago. I still have the car and have once again caught the bug. I'm missing a few keys parts and some are more damaged than can be repaired. I was hoping someone could point me in the right direction of some good places to look for these parts. I'm looking for bumpers, front grill, hood, and the rear trunk name plate. I'm missing the 'D' in Acadian. I'm also looking to do a disk brake conversion, so I just want to see if any one has had any luck with any after market kits from global west or opgi.com etc.

Where are you located? There's a couple of sources for good used Acadian parts in BC. Also, go to the parts wanted section here and post up a list of needs, you may be pleasantly surprised.

Didn't see in your bio where you are located but shipping a grill does get a little pricey. I'm in the Okanagan valley and I'm pretty sure my buddy still has a nice 64 grill and I think I may still have a nameplate.

I'll try find the pictures of the grill. Maybe put a picture of your grill and nameplate so we are matching you up the right pieces. Rechecked your list and I think I have a decent hood too. I have a couple friends that go back and forth to Calgary quite often.
Ok, I was wondering if you were talking Acadian as in Nova style or Chevelle style. Seeing the grille picture, you are talking Chevelle style. To avoid confusion when you want to get parts for it, you are better off to call it a Beaumont. I know it says Acadian on it, but GM confused the heck out of everyone when they had two styles of Acadian for 64-65...

Ok as Carl has mentioned above I was looking for the Acadian model instead of the Acadian Beaumont. Glad you were able to show us a picture. I can't see the grill picture too clear here on my phone as to what is damaged on it. So I do have a 64 Beaumont grill, a pretty decent hood, and I think I still have a damaged trunk piece we could get the letter from. I do have a complete one too if yours is real poor but they all seem notorious for pittng. If you want to pm your email address I can send you some pictures and prices.
