long story .. I missed buying this car 20 years ago by 1/2 hour, called a word Ad in the AUTOTRADER , car was in the Regina area , turned out a soon to be 17 year old good friend had bought it, also from my home town. I ended up buying the original 326 pontiac out of her for my 67 Firebird ( still have )
fast forward a few years. Tyler restored the body , new 1/4's and healthy drivetrain .
fast forward to the recent 5 years .. he upgraded again to a nasty 455 with TREMEC 5 spd .
mods include 455 that is dry blocked , ported heads , rhoads lifters , big cam., aluminum rad, quick ratio cherokee box , hotchkiss springs, nascar style rear trailing arms suspension. 3.73 posi , 4 wheel disc brakes .
The car is cool... wanted it for years , but after I built my 65 .. I didn't need it .. just wanted it ! A 67 has been on my list for 22 years .. ( as you know .. ive been collecting 67 GTO stuff for 22 years.. LOL )
This one is done nicely .. I havn't gotten my 67 GTO project off the ground.. so when Tyler finally decided to sell .. well some back and forth.. and now I can put my rub to it ! The GTO HOOD is being painted this week and installed before I pick it up , using my red one ( he's a bodyman by trade )
not a perfect car .. but sure will turn heads .. and lay down some time slips !
soooo .. now I really have to sell some stuff !! LOL
Congrats Rog!! That is 1 nice addition to the collection! Would luv to see more pics once you get her home. 455 with Tremec 5sp..... I'm sure you took her out for a good test drive before purchase!
No hate at all Rog. Congratulations good score. Sometimes you just gotta go after the things you want rather than need. Life's too short not to.
Need to see some pics of the truck arm rear. That idea has always intrigued me. Would love ro hear first hand how well it works.
I've always been in the passenger seat .. I made the deal .. NO TEST DRIVE !! LOL !
the car handles flat and tight .. no muscle car body roll what so ever.
It's going to be interesting .. and end up a GTO clone . I can't focus long enough to build the one I have !! LOL !
I'l be selling the other 3 as a package .. someone with talent and ambition will end up with a great well optioned GTO.. that are only climbing in value . the gold one is sporting a 455 right now.

Man, now you have TWO mid-60's 455 c.i.d. real-deal Pontiac A-bodies, I think I am going to die from envy, no hate here! What a great looking car and a great backstory, and best of all you have another pavement-pounder in the stable!
(Don't sell that 65, I'll fly up there and drive it down here and keep it safe for you when you come visit )

These were copied off the 63 Parisienne, the Big GTO, so they are a beautiful car. The 65-67's were just so classy, chrome bumpers, and the right muscle car proportions.
