Air Conditioning

Does anyone know of a 1969 Beaumont with factory air? I found someone selling the parts for air conditioning that came from his 1969 Beaumont but I've never heard of any 69 Beaumonts with factory air. Also heard that the fire wall was different on the A/C cars. Anybody have any info?

I know a guy who said his brother had a 69 SD with factory AC. It was sold new in the London, ON area.  Black car with white guts.

DJ Automotive locally restores Cutlass's and has installed AC in a couple of cars that  I know about. I believe the opening in the firewall has to be enlarged ?

Wasn't the Puerto Rican yellow and red Beaumont a '69? It had factory air, 307 car I believe.

Yes, you are correct. It was a 307 Powerglide with factory a/c & a factory 12-bolt rear. Plus the oddball colour combo. I think that in 1969 when you ordered F40 HD Suspension you got a 12-bolt rear on Chevelles & Beaumonts (it wasn't  like that every year but I think it was also true in 1970).
