Vintage Varcon Car Interior Fan Heater - For Sale

Varcon ... Made in Canada. Plugs in like a block heater. Used to preheat the interior of your cold car.

In good working order, also good cosmetically. I rewired it with the exact wire (new) that it originally had, and gave it a good cleaning inside (dust).

Great display in your classic (I'm actually sitting on the fence about selling it).

$40.00 + shipping.

These plug in over night interior heaters were quite popular back when. Unfortunately what they did was promote rusting. Made the inside of the doors etc sweat and then rust.

Ya, I would "use" it as primarily a display item.

Very popular items here in Saskatchewan along with battery blankets, inline lower rad hose heaters, dual block heaters were not uncommon either. Oh yeah, it gets cold here but it's a "dry cold"   lol.

I had an inline hose heater/circulation pump on a 1974 Honda Civic ... worked great!

When I don't have the heat on in my garage during a real cold spell, I just run one of those 24/7 in the garage just to keep the frost out.

With today's absurd "Liberal" government hydro rates in Ontario, you would break the bank doing this. Luckily here in Ontario (southern Ontario) our winters are livable.
