hello everyone i can honestly say i am a proud owner of a 67 sd big block 4 speed finally and also a 67 acadian canso. As you can see in my previous trends i have been looking for a 67 beaumont for at least 6 years and also wanted to trade a 1954 corvette for one.anyway corvette sold for big money and i also stepped u and bought a beaumont.i will post pictures in the near future.car needs detailingand perhaps even paint if i want it show quality but for now i just want to get little things it needs. this car doesnt have a radiator shroud and that free fan is scary and unsafe.does anyone know if it came with one and where i can buy it,thanks
Well that is good to hear, your patience has paid off. So did you luck out close by or did you have to travel a ways to find one. Looking forward to the pictures.

You sold a 54 Corvette? They don't exactly grow on trees. Beautiful looking cars. Now an 67 SD, that is also very interesting. Was it Mike's Butternut Yellow coupe?
You also asked about the fan. A 67 Big Block Beaumont would have come only with the standard radiator and metal finger guard from the factory. They also came standard with a 4-blade 17" fan. RPO K02 was available on all V8 Beaumonts and gave the buyer a 5-blade 17.6" temperature controlled fan (RPM limited and it can decouple for significant horsepower savings). The RPM limiting and lack of flexing makes the thermostatic fan the safest engine-driven fan.
The aftermarket offers many radiator choices from Copper / Brass like stock, or Aluminum, plus you can run a reproduction full shroud for efficiency. Curiously the RPO V01 H.D. Rad with shroud wasn't a factory option for Canadian BBC Chevelles or Beaumonts until 1968, the year factory a/c became available. They did offer the V01 rad for sixes and small block V8s in 67 curiously; they rarely were specified.
