How to remove horn center cap and/or horn ring?

Finally the weather turned nice, so took the 64 Beau SD for her first drive (top down - yay!) - 90 miles round trip to visit my nephew who is staying in his boss' condo on the northern tip of Captiva Island (his boss is Sam Johnson, owner of SC Johnson, originally Johnson Wax). On the way I discovered a few things that needed attention, and one of them is a rattle that comes from inside the horn cap (probably a broken bit of the turn signal cancelling parts, since the cancelling does not work). Anyhow, I want to remove the cap (which maybe is one piece with the horn ring?) and do NOT want to screw it up, so ... how do I remove it to get behind it to see what is rattling around in there?

Thanks!

Dave

My 66 beaumont steering wheel centre (Canadian) cap is held in place by two spring steel clips. If it's the same as mine it should just pop off with a bit of a tug. Hopefully someone else with a 64 will chime in if it's different.

Forgot to update this ... I pulled the cap (thanks Brain for the tips) and found one of those screws rolling around in there, screwed it back in (YIKES! NOT SO TIGHT! HORN BLARING!) and now fixed, thanks again.

Dave
