Hey from central Sask

My first car back in '89 was a 66 Pontiac Grand Parisienne 4 dr. hard top in which I regret selling. I have just bought a replacement for those memories in a 67 Parisienne 4 dr. sedan to enjoy cruising with my wife and kids.

The 67 is a 60,629 mile survivor "barn find" that has oil change sticker from 2001 at 60,326. It now runs and drives great (even with the old tires) and in need of body and mechanical work. I am excited to start this project and meet new people along the way!

Nice, looks like a great survivor as stated! V-8 car. I'm sure someone on here can point you in the right direction for a complete front fender emblem.

Welcome from Whitecourt Ab. Car looks in pretty good shape. Had a '67 Parisienne 4 door just like it back in '77. Unfortunately it was the one shown in my avatar. Good luck with her!

Welcome aboard. As you'll quickly find out you've come to the right place.

Let me check for that Parisienne emblem.

Thanks for the warm welcome and encouragement! I've been cleaning it and gave it a oil change and air filter, antique plates and maiden voyage with the family. It was a pleasure to drive, besides the the rear wheel cylinders need to be replaced and tires. Once all the requisite maintenance and fluild's changed, I would not hesitate to drive this to the west coast!

I was wondering who got that car.. contemplated buying it myself but the drive was a little too far... two houses down the street...

You definitely did beat me! Not sure how! I don't think I had even got off work and it was sold!
Good luck with the car tho, glad she went to someone who is actually interested in getting her back on the road!

It didn't need much to be a reliable driver, tires, battery, brakes bled, filters, carb tuning, (auto choke works) and a good cleaning! It was "cool" cruising around last night in -27 with the family looking at Christmas lights! My only complaint is lack of rear window defogger lol
