Good machine shop in Kelowna?

I need to have my crank ground. Any recommendations for a good machine shop in Kelowna?

I'm by no means an expert on cranks, but I was a machinist........I can see the set up for machining costing a pretty penny.

My independent mechanic here in Calgary charges $115.00 an hour, dealers are charging close to $150.....how much would a machine shop charge?

Somehow I think buying a new one may be a cheaper route rather than grinding.......

Like rotors and drums, it's cheaper to buy new. Like I said I'm not an expert on cranks.

This is an aftermarket steel crank balanced to my rotating assembly. If it were a stock or even aftermarket cast crank, it would be cheaper to buy new. The crank is worth about $1200 plus the balancing.

I use OK engine rebuilders down on Ellis. Very, very experienced and just great guys. If they are too busy K&S Machine by Reid's Corner are also top notch. These 2 shops will have done the majority of rebuilds in the city.
