Their loss! There are few girls on this website.

Rockabilly or '50s Rock & Roll?

Welcome to Canadianponcho! Your 57 is gorgeous!

My wife, my daughter and I have been to Geneva and Lugano. Living in Switzerland must be beautiful, although quite expensive as I recall.

Yes it is a nice country and I think also special with 4 official languages. Oh yes, Lugano and Geneva are beautiful, especially with the lakes. You are right, living is not very cheap here even if in general the income is higher than in rest of europe. so it balances it out a bit.

Tine, a hardy welcome aboard from Milton, Ontario, Canada. Needless to say that i love your 57 Pontiac and like Dave said, i have one just like it. It is real nice to see ladies in our C.P. club because there are so few, if any now. Tine, any questions about your 57 Pontiac will be answered here by some of our members, me included. I hope you enjoy the C.P. journey here and check out my example of your beautiful car. Cheers. George

 Hi George,

what nice colors yours has! it looks really good! original mine was grey with black, but the owner before me painted it to yellow-black. i even found a picture of a canadian poncho in yellow and black, so i guess he oriantated to an color combination which really existed back then. But what is missing is the original radio. so now there is still a gap there and an ugly temporary on the bottom. i am not already sure if i want to look for an original one by chance it doesn't work or to get a retro one (but with no digital display).

Btw, whanks for you tip when looking for a wheel bearing in the other topic group.

 Greetings from cold Switzerland,

Tine

Good stuff! I listen to 50's Rock & Roll/Rockabilly/Psychobilly also, but I'm mostly into Hardcore & Punk.

LOL

Phillip, even if I was in Australia for almost 6 months (but it's already more than 15 years ago), I didn't get one sentence you said. :D

Me and my man just watch the rugby match Australia vs France.

Cheers,
Tine

Welcome Tine

Welcome from Langley British Columbia. I love that 57 of yours. Brings back so many memories for me as my dad's first brand new car was a 57 pontiac sedan delivery. The colors on your car look absolutely beautiful.

Hi Luppy

Thank you, I love the colors too. Even if originally it was grey but yellow-black fits me much better.

Tine, do you have any other photos of your beautiful 57 Pontiac. We all love photos of every ones cars here on C.P. and photos of yours would be very welcome. Tine, as well as the photos can you give us more history on your fine 57 time machine. Where did it come from and how did you get it. I would love to see a photo of that trusty 261 inline six. Continued good luck with your 57 and cheers. George
