Seem to have broke the wire off this resistor that goes to the coil. Been looking on line but cant find anywhere to buy a new one. Everything points me to pertronix. Any suggestions?

Thanks Carl. If thats the case I will solder the wire back on....If I can and hope the radio sounds good.
Hoping to have the engine back in within 2 weeks. Engine bay is 95% clean then just need to paint.
No worries, I believe that is just for radio static. Someone here can correct me if I'm wrong on that but you may not even notice it not hooked up.
Noise suppressing condenser... Should be a ton of those around..... They have them on the external voltage regulator and inside the 12SI internal alternators... Shouldn't be an issue to get one... and like Carl said, nil effect if not there....

How many people listen to AM radio anyways. I can't even bring in a AM station on PEI.

Believe it or not, I have a friend that listens to AM news all the time. Very difficult traveling with him lol
Ya, my Mom drove me nuts with CFRB "talk radio"!
