Not sure how far this would put you ahead if you were working on a Canadian car, but it'd beat the patch panels we have available no doubt. Hate to cut up an NOS quarter for rust repair, but here it is!
I know the 1970 Catalina rear quarter is the same as a Parisienne/Laurentian, so I suspect this 1969 Catalina one will fit a Parisienne/Laurentian. I'll check some #'s a bit later.
Not sure if the fenders for US models is interchangeable with the Canadian production .
Nope, the front fenders are different (the mounting holes for the inner fenders and rad support are all different), but that looked like a good price. I wonder if a good metal man could man could take all the mount holes from a Cdn fender and graft them to a US fender.
Dang, if there were two, or if I had a candidate car... tempting. The only car I foresee myself restoring in the future is actually a convertible, and the quarters are a little different. Still, not like there are a lot of these out there, nice find!
The 69 Catalina quarters are functionally interchangeable with Canadian cars but the fender is not. Not only is the inner portion different where it connects to the tubs and hood hinges but the outside is quite different where it meets the windshield area and most of all Canadian fenders have the wheel opening relocated one inch closer to the cowl.
