I was just looking at the 1969 Strato Chief feature car from 2010, and I noticed the trunk is entirely blank. So if that's the case for all of them, can someone fill in the blanks?
Strato Chief - Blank Laurentian - PONTIAC Parisienne - ??? 2+2 - "2+2 by Pontiac" or "2+2 Pontiac", I'm not 100% Grande P - Grande Parisienne
I'm 95% certain the Strato Chief had "PONTIAC" on the trunk lid as I seem to remember as a kid pulling pieces of car wash brush bristles out from behind the letters on dad's Strato Chief. Somewhere I have a photo of the back of the car but I can't seem to find it.
OK, so the Strato Chief that was feature car must have been de-badged then, as it had nothing on the trunk, which was what prompted my question. I'll assume same as the Laurentian then.
Does anyone know if the 2+2 trunk emblem, under the 2+2 part, read "by Pontiac" or just "Pontiac"?
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.

Just "Pontiac". They're tough to find in good condition, here's a broken one:
Random note - I just bought an NOS set of those bumper fillers. When I was restoring my 2+2 it was a hard part to find in good condition - any bumper damage and usually the bumper gets pushed into them.
The Pontiac lettering on the back of the strato and Laurentian is the same as on the Catalina or executive so they can be found used in good shape in the dry US states
