Is this the correct 1964 SD Bucket Seat Adjustment Knob?

<sigh> I keep finding things wrong that I just need to fix - the seat adjustment knob is missing on passenger side and black plastic on driver's side - is this the correct knob for my 1964 Beaumont Sport Deluxe (chrome metal)?

believe so just not positive
I'll check mine... but that's still not a guarantee.

Interesting aside. While 65 full size buckets appear the same Chev to Pontiac the adjustment knob/lever is different. On Chev arm sticks out horizontally while on Pontiac the arm is vertical.

My arms are vertical - more accurately, they come out horizontal and then make a 90 degree bend, so the knob attaches to the vertical part.

That is what I was describing above for the 65 Pontiac arms. One 90 degree bend. Arm goes straight up.
65 Chev has two 90 degree bends so arm comes out horizontally and after two 90s ends up horizontal.

I checked my 64 Beaumont SD seats and arm comes out horizontally does two 90s and ends up horizontal. Knob is like your picture. However, I can't be sure my seat tracks are original.

When describing the difference between 65 Cdn Pontiac arms and 65 Chev arms earlier I neglected to mention that the knobs are also different. From memory the 65 Chev is much like your picture while the 65 Pontiac is longer and narrower. If you want I could go out and take a pic.

I checked in the parts books but couldn't get a clear indication of correctness.

Here's another thought. Your pic is probably from a Chevelle/Chev catalog/website. Perhaps you'd be better off checking a Pontiac catalog/website as the Beaumont interiors more closely resembled the mid size American Pontiacs. Perhaps try Ames Pontiac.

this is a 65 or 66 Beaumont seat track with the same knob. If you need one PM me your address and I'll ship you the knob.

OK, thanks - I appreciate the offer Jim but since I need 2, I am going to buy a pair of new reproduction knobs.
