Is there a definitive list.....

of standard....and optional equipment.....for 67-70 CDN 2 plus 2's?

 I have 67 and 68 showroom brochures....but they really don't get into the details....as I recall....

I have a 1970 Potiac Accessories Brochure, and I think I have the 1969 version as well.    The brochure indicates which body styles the accessories are for.

Canadian 2+2

In 1967, GM of Canada debuted the Parisienne 2+2, based on the Parisienne series that replaced the Parisienne Custom Sport from a year earlier. All Pontiacs manufactured and sold in Canada were unique from their U.S. counterparts as GM of Canada fitted re-proportioned US Pontiac bodies to the Chevrolet Impala chassis and drive trains.

Canadian purchasers of the 2+2 could therefore order any Chevrolet V8 engine option like the 283 and 327 in³ small-block engines, or the 396 and 427 in³ "Mark IV" big-block.

The trim options were slightly different as well, with Chevrolet's 15-inch Rally rims were used instead of a standard 14" steel rim

A 250 cu in (4.1 L) 155 hp (116 kW; 157 PS) straight-6 engine was standard in 1967,

which meant that the Canadian 2+2 was a Parisienne with louvers, exterior and interior badges, as well as bucket seats and center console (which were options on the Parisienne) as "standard" equipment.

I don't think there was a bucket/console option for the Parisienne as that article states. I bet you only got those on a 2+2.

And I've been wrong before.

Back to the 15" Rally's....I'm pretty sure the 67 and 68 2 plus 2......is shown with full wheel discs.....in the Canadian Pontiac showroom brochures....which would lead me to believe that the Rally's were NOT standard equipment....as stated in the posted specs above..

Only 1970 2+2's had rally wheels standard is my understanding of the factory brochures

While going through the 67-70 brochures I noticed something that never caught my eye before, the 68 2 door grande Parisienne didn't have vent windows, a year later nod to the 67 GRand Prix hardtop not having them.

Hmmm, might be similar to the 68 2 dr Impala having vent windows, but the 68 2 dr Caprice did not have vent windows.

Guess what I was really looking for is a Canadian Pontiac order guide....or Dealer Album.....for the years in question...

That would spell it out pretty clearly....Thought somebody on here might have one or more....

I have them for most US built cars I collect...but know the Canadian ones are not so easy to find...

What is the source of that list? Long as hell, makes me feel sorry for the assembly line guys trying to keep track of all that!

It's from the mid-early 90s, when I first put up my website, so I don't actually recall. Odds are it's from the documentation that Vintage Vehicle Services sent out when I had the car documented about that time. Whether it's actual Pontiac information or recycled Chevrolet information is harder to know at this point.

Since the LowFuel-Belts-Lights option might be specific to Canadian Pontiacs, it might actually be the right list. But if Chevrolet offered that option too...

Too bad no 69 ones haven't shown up yet. I looked for an hour last night trying to find the 1963 one I know I have but no luck so far.
