Has anyone ever seen one? I use the 1969 Impala manual as it's close for most mechanical stuff, but can't help but wonder what they actually did back in the day. Did they have a Canada-specific book? After all, there's Canada-specific shop manuals to service them, so you'd think they'd need a specific manual to build it in the first place!
Thanks, I have the shop and Fisher body manuals mentioned above, but not the shop manual. If they're only on microfiche it'd be tough getting a print copy. Anyone know WHO has them on microfiche?

Dave, do you have this one, the 69 full size Canadian service manual?
I looked at the cover and thought, hmm, sure looks like the US manual.
I looked inside the cover and it says Oshawa. I never looked at the rest of the pages. I bet you are right, I'll check. It's likely Catalina, Bonneville etc but the Oshawa sticker led me to assume. Never assume...

I do have the 1969 Canadian fullsize manual (I've got an old high school that's falling apart, but new ones are around) but that was actually the US manual pictured above!
I have always understood that Assembly manuals and Shop manuals are two very different things. Assembly manuals are factory illustrations of every imaginable part showing where it goes, including the most mundane. A Shop manual is words, photos and sometimes illustrations of how to do the work required to make the repair.

Yup and shop and body manuals are a dime a dozen since every dealer had several of each not to mention trade schools, corner garages and do it yourself owners. The body manual (covers both Canadian and US Pontiacs) and the American shop manual are in reprint and originals of those two and the Canadian shop manual are all readily available on eBay for $25-50.
Assembly manuals were only printed in very small quantities for engineers and supervisors at the actual assembly plants. All the 69 American Pontiac assembly manuals (A+G body, Body and F body) are in re-print (the blue ones are much better quality than the white page ones) but I've never seen or heard of a Canadian Assembly manual.
I just want to make sure we're all on the same page: what Carl has posted a pic of is the SERVICE (or shop, or workshop) manual. Invaluable, but different from the ASSEMBLY manual.
I've still never seen, but would love to see, the ASSEMBLY manual they used at the factory. As North pointed out, they were only used in the factory, so they're very uncommon unless someone can get a reprint from fiche somehow.
