I am in the process of helping my younger brother Mike find a 1964 to 1968 Corvair or a 1962 to 1967 Acadian or a 1962 to 1967 Chevy II. My brother prefers a four door but he would consider a two door in a Corvair only. Prefers an automatic (Power Glide) but will consider a standard. In the Acadian or Chevy II, only interested in an original inline six or four. Car must be original and not modified. He wants this as a project for him and his 16 year old son Liam. Liam is taking auto mechanics in school and my brother thought it would be neat to have a father and son project. Mike is not looking for any wrecks, just a car that needs minor body work and minor mechanical work. Car must start and run. Would have to be a reasonable distance to travel from where he is in Toronto, Ontario. If anyone out there has a car for sale or knows of someone that does, could you please get in touch with me. Very much appreciated and cheers. George

I appreciate the help from everyone so far. That Corvair looks sweet but a major haul for winter travel. Mike and i might just do some travelling out west this coming spring. Cheers.

That looks nice, but not enough information or photos.

I have never seen a four cylinder motor in any Acadian/Chevy II. Countless inline sixes and transplanted eights. I love this car just for the fact that it has its original four. I will be showing this to my brother. Thanks again everyone. Cheers. George

The really good thing about the four banger is that it shares so much with other Chevy engines. It's not like parts would be impossible to find, as would be with the case of a 50+ year old car if every engine part was unique.

I could go on a Sunday drive to see this one if interested. Might be cheaper without the vert stuff or sell the vert stuff? Probably a PG 6.

My brother Mike and i appreciate all the leads folks. It is looking like we are going to have to do some driving this spring to find suitable cars. Cheers. George

This is a very solid original paint car with in my opinion 64,000 miles. It does need minor bodywork to pass inspection The car yard drives good . This car also comes with most of the parts to convert it to a two door convertible if a person wanted to go that route. Comes with a good Nova Scotia sedan title. $3500 I also have pictures of the convertible parts but didn't have room on here for them. Can text or email extra pics if needed
