As far as American Pontiacs go a 61 Bonneville tops my personal favourite list. I love those triple lens tail lights.
We had a 61 Strato Chief two door sedan in Midnight Blue and a family from Michigan would come to vacation on Georgian Bay just down the road from our cottage and they had a 61 Bonneville in midnight blue. Our Strato Chief was definitely the poor pip squeek cousin to that car.

Hi : No I do not have 8 lug wheels , but most likely I am not going with stock wheels might install air ride. Are your 8 lug wheels 1961 date coded correct ? or newer as there is a difference .
Nice car I always loved Bonnevilles growing up in Maritimes, we often saw Bonnevilles from Mass.
heres a few from the world wide web...
They are green , I've never looked at the date codes .
David, a hardy welcome aboard from Milton, Ontario. Thank you for saving that beautiful 61 and loads of good luck to you to restore that gem. Please keep us all posted here on C.P. about all the resto updates. Cheers. George

The floor pan has surprisingly less rust than the trunk.
HI : Done Deal ! Now I can find out how to put it together LOL. How can I pay you ??? I have credit cards or ? Thanks David
Those pictures bring back memories of my build and you have the same rotisserie. Makes it easy to position it just right for the work you are doing. You have taken on quite the project and with the progress that you have made so far is pretty damn good. Keep up the good work, but as I was told by a restorer don't rush it. Keep us posted as you have.
