More heater control porn...

Since we all know how poorly they age and how hard they are to find...  and thanks to the member who knew I was looking and shot me a heads-up!

If I manage to get the red 2+2 convertible,.it's a non-AC car so that's where it'd go.

The 70 Strato Chief that's near my place and is a total rust bucket has likely the nicest 70 heater control I've seen. Now if I could just talk the guy into selling me the darn car I'd harvest the very few pieces good pieces out of it.

I don't know, but I assume the 1970s woodgrain ones held up better than the 1969 brushes aluminum ones... they'd almost have to, as the aluminum ones were junk by the 80s!

I can't help but wonder how long this NOS unit will look decent once installed....

The 70 woodgrain is prone to cracks and fading.
