OK....according to my internet research.......This is the A body style for 68-72.

Will these install in my 68 buckets seats?......or do I need to add internal parts?

No.  The headrests you posted are for bench seat.   As rabbit64cs indicates, the strato buckets used a 2 post design.  I just grabbed this photo from the internet.   Note the cover is one piece of molded plastic.  The cover in the photo's you posted is sewn together.

You will have to find the internal parts. If I remember there was two plastic tubes per seat and Chrome adjusting trim for the top of the buckets.

This is for 69 to 72 mounting  hardware. Not sure about 68 though. May be some one else can add to this if good for 68.

Ok, thanks for clearing that up.....No wonder there are dozens of the single stake variety for sale on ebay...by sellers NOT saying that they don't fit buckets...

So the mounting hardware is reproduced....but NOT the headrests?

I know there's a difference between 69 & 70, and suspect 68 & 69 are the same.  The tubes are likely the same, but it's the oval plates and adjusting mechanisms that differ from 69 to 70.  When I put reproduction cover plates on my 70 convertible, I had to make sure I got the right ones.

Those repops don't look bad, not perfect but a lot better than the awful looking covers they sell.

So to answer your original question, yes the headrests themselves are the same A body vs B body. However we're finding post design changes from 68/69 to 70-72, all to do with the lock mechanism to allow them to slide up and down.

TWE  (Ted Williams Enterprises Lisbon, Ohio) are the manufacturer. They do not have a web site as they do not sell retail; so you will have to locate a dealer. Antique Chevrolet in Dundas,  ON  would be a good start. i'm sorry I no longer have their catalog.
