It's true, a Canadian Poncho was first spotted on the highway headed north this morning. It looked like it was turning in to uncork the headers before a century shot. Later, this reporter spotted the same Canadian Poncho and "innocent" driver at the setup for the upcoming Spring Car Show, recorking the headers and cleaning the rubber off the rockers no doubt. Couldn't get any closer but I think he might be recognizable anyway.
'64 Parisienne CS "barn find" - last on the road in '86 ... Owner Protection Plan booklet, original paint, original near-mint aqua interior, original aqua GM floor mats, original 283, factory posi, and original rust.
Just simply B.E.A.U.T.I.F.U.L......... By the way, did you win best of show. If not, i will put money on you winning best Pontiac.
Nope, no awards for me but I didn't go with any expectations either.
What was REALLY cool was today. I emailed the man I got the car from to tell him it was in the show. He and his wife showed up a few hours later and spent some time at the car with me. Nobody knows the car better than him, it was in his family since new.

I am not much for Chevies, especially 55-57 but I had to post this pic. You can see in front of my car is a 56 4 door hardtop. Most people won't give it a second look, it's in the "Barn Find" section of the car show and needs restored. However, a young'ish girl owns it and is really enthusiastic about the car. It's WAY cool, 265, rear speaker, clock, powerglide, power steering, power brakes, power seat and power windows!
Best of all, she got FIRST place in the Barn Finds!
