First time in the shop with the whole family!! Always seems to be one missing (teenagers) but tonight we all went down to the shop to hang out and look at the car...just a fun night! James has been cramming for exams (physics etc) so he comes down to help when he can(school first). Still trying to figure out what Crystal(daughter) want's for a car? Exterior is almost done, now to start on the interior...stereo,dash etc then have to get the mechanical up to snuff. Thinking May on the road..better weather and he can drive it to school!

Epic post. What a transformation!

This must be so satisfying in the end to see the result of all that hard work. And knowing what a fortune it would have cost a shop to do all that must make it feel all the more better.

That is one beautiful car, and a nicer, more suitable colour for the Canso you wouldn't find. Cheers.

He's likely immune to the the contents of the dart. His blood's so thin it neutralizes it.

Finished off stereo install and started playing with the PS brackets. Anyone have a pic of factory install? Looked in the shop man but no good pic of belt/bracket setup. Everything seems to line up with the rear groove on the pulley,so front is just an extra for alt if I put the dual groove pulley on it? (no bolts in the pump pulley)

Death wish! Was under the dash doing the stereo wiring and noticed this. Pipe welded to rod with a ton of washers and nuts. This wouldn't even pass a Dougie inspection!!! Nuts what some guys do and it's the brakes!

You need double grove pulley on w/p, alt and crank. Rear belt does p/s and around all 3 others. Need a short belt on front to run the alt. Won't have enough tension on alt with just the p/s belt.
