The engine is a 511 ci 409 Bob Walla aluminum block. Bob Walla aluminum heads. Dual 1000 cfm Dominators on a tunnel ram. Diamond Pistons. 12 to 1 T@D roller rockers. It was dyno'd at 863 hp with 683 ft. lbs. of torque.
Driveline: Race Powerglide with SFI aproved Reid case and transbrake. Coan bolt together torque converter. QA1 Carbon fiber driveshaft. Strange 60 rear end with 35 spline axles. Four link suspension with adjustable shocks.
Other: Roll cage certified to 8:50 Magnafuel 500 pump and regulator. Car weighs about 3,200 lbs with driver and fuel. Seat belts and safety equipment up to date. The car is "turn key" ready to race. I do have the Ontario registration (title) for this car. Best ET so far is 9.06 @ 148 mph with a best 60' time of 1.21

What planet am i on, am i reading this right. $29,000 for that masterpiece. What am i missing here. That motor might be worth more than that. Very confused.

So if we sell the Pontiac, we won't be racing this year.
We do have another 409 engine that we might use to build a street/strip car, but if we do we'll probably aim for about 11.50 in the 1/4 mile. Any faster than that and you have to install a roll bar etc.

Sorry to hear you won't be racing this summer. Wow the 55 is gone and the 61 is up for sale, I guess this means the Z11 engine will go into some thing new. I have seen the 61 a few times and it is totally awesome.

Awesome car Jim, what's the et for the replacement? I also think $39,000 is cheap, replacement cost is well north of that.
